The 2nd New York Regiment and some new objective flags.
The 2nd New York Volunteer Regiment.
I've always thought objective flags were a good idea but never did anything about it.
Today I grabbed some nails, coins and spare flags and had bit of a go.
They look like they will do the job ok.
Nice work. Like the idea for the objective flags
ReplyDeleteThanks Neil. Whish I could figure out how to make camps now.
DeleteNice objective flags and beautiful regiment, well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Phil!
DeleteCool idea David!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rodger. I thought it might be fun to change the flag when an objective has been captured.
DeleteYou are really cranking out the troops right now, David! Good show.
ReplyDeleteI also like the objective markers. I have also used small round wooden bases (you can get them cheap at Litko and elsewhere) On one side I glue a flag derived Icon, the flip side can have varying Victory Points or whatever, which can be hidden until the objective is taken. You could do the same thing on the underside of your flag markers too, if desired/needed.
Good idea Peter. I have a set of rules that require secret point allocation for objectives as well!
DeleteLove the troops, David! And the objective flags are awesome! What a good idea I think I'll give those a try soon.
ReplyDeleteYes very cheap very easy. I was thinking mounting one on top of barrels or other baggage would be effective too.
DeleteBTW Your flag tip worked great for me!
Nicely done David.
